Default Assasin...whats with the tuna??

Mark,

Just wanted to know if you have heard any new info or if you have been out for any tuna. I know the water has turned, but thought maybe you could give us a story.

In Southern California they are really wacking the blue fin, as charters have been limiting on the medium sized stuff (40 to 70lbs.) and busting off on the larger models. N. Calif. has had their share of success also. When are you planning on heading out again. If I can't go fishing I want to hear some good or bad story's. Has JT gone out again???

Please read my "Friday thru Monday" post for info
on how the weekend went. J.T. hasn't been out for
tuna that I know of. Couple of other boats (Mr. Max
and Enterprise) went on Sunday ... got a totally
thrashed on and came back with less then one fish
per customer ... and that after going out 52+ and
65+ miles!!!

I think I'm going to wait until I hear better news
before I run again. On Saturday we ended up 42 miles
from the bouy (30 miles off Cape Kiawanda) for only
two fish. Water temps were good ... 61.5 degrees ...
but the color was all wrong. Don't want to burn thru
that much fuel, get that beat up and only get a couple
of fish again!!
