Re: Winchester Bay Fishing
Tuna trips have been canceled for a while due to weather and the warm water is so far off shore. but hopefully this wind swithces and that changes.

Re: Winchester Bay Fishing
Salmon is definitely slow for Charleston the commercials are fishing out at 300', but I hear Winchester is picking a few from my sources. Bottomfishing however is always pretty good, there's still a lot of lings being caught. People are starting to catch a few in the upper tide sections of the river right now so it won't be long before all of the rivers down here are packed full.

Hey T-N-T,
Haven't seen ya at WB lately?? Was there 8/4 and only got two chinooks, outside 300' down 50', lots of salad , what a pain!!!
Planning on going tomorrow, if weather looks bearable. You???
Nice boat, got one also, it's the a silver mid-engine.

Re: Winchester Bay Fishing
Kurt,
Last time I was down there was 7/27 and it was pretty rough. Picked up one chinook and one coho and came back in after 20 minutes. Up until then I was out just about every weekend. Best time so far was the 4th of July weekend.
I was thinking of going Sunday, but not sure yet, with the wind predictions. I figured you had to be out in at least 200'. Sounds like 300' is the depth now.
I think I seen you pass me a couple of weekends ago on I-5 near the I-105 turn off. Was that you? That's a nice boat you have too! I can only think of one Maxxum I've seen that looks shabby and that was a black one. I think it was one of the first made.
If you get out there good luck! Let me know how you do!
James
