Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what is a "yellow" salmon?

Craig - looks like your page is back in operation. Nice pics. I've seen a chinook with totaly white meat (looked like trout meat), but don't remember any of the color on the cheeks. We caught it out of Echo Bay (out in the islands from Port Hardy) in Canada. A guy with us claimed there's a run that goes up the Frasier that all have white meat. Is this the same run? If so he was a long ways from home.
PS - it tasted as bad as it looked, although it was mint bright on the outside it was a smoker at best on the inside.
