Default Intro and Story

Hello to all rip lippers of ifish, I have been fishing for Bass for a long time and love it.. I have been fly fishing for the last 5 years hard and have put Bass fishing on the back burner some. I go to Shasta for 5 days every year and catch a lot of fish. I usually catch bigger fish in the local ponds every year than I do in Shasta every year except this one.

That was quite fish and a crazy way to catch it.

But here is a funny story for everyone: A few years back during Winter Steelhead fishing Chris(PELHAMENT) and I were at the Alsea fly fishing and Chris had a nice hook-up with a rock. Him being a puny little cus I told him to hand me the rod so i could break the 15# line for him. Well I put the rod parallel to the water and pulled and snap, and then i watched as the top two pieces of Chris' rod came off, and with nothing to keep the tips from going in to the river i started to run my Large Frame down the River. As I was attempting to go for the tips my foot caught a rock and in a split second, i thought i can try to catch my balance or go for the rod, and in an attempt to rescue my best buds rod tips i dove into the freezing north fork head first (in Feb.) I made a couple barrel rolls attempting not to break them and managed to get them out of the water unscathed. And I look up to see Chris laughing his A$$ off...

But I am sure that he has some other pretty stupid things that I have done.

Brandon

Thanks for the intro and the story King Cutt. I know that Roger asked you to introduce yourself and give us a story and so you did. Welcome aboard! Bill

BTW, your link doesn't seem to be working for some reason.

Nice intro. Have you tried fly fishing for bass at Davis lake. It's a fly angling only lake and last year a 7.5 pounder was caught on a black leach pattern. I can't wait for that water to warm up. Good luck and welcome.
