Wierd looking hali tail

We fished hali's out of Garibaldi on Saturday. We caught 2, a 36" and 49". The tail on the big one had a rounded tail with some white spots on the dark side :whazzup: . Besides the tail the rest of the fish looked perfect. Has anyone seen or heard of this before? I ate some of it Saturday night and it seemed fine. My buddies wife said it looked like the "ick" that her tropical fish get sometimes :shocked: . Any ideas? HJ

I hope that isn't what I think it is. Very contagious!!! You'd be better off if you send the rest of the fish to me for further diagnostic work. Also send 1 lb of butter and two lemons, please. Thanks for your cooperation. :grin:

If the tail was rounded in the middle of the fin, it might be a California Halibut. The limit on them is twenty-five! :shocked:
