Default tradewinds charter trip

my dad and i went out tue 7/30/2
everyone went home with a limit that day.
26 fish in the boat of with 14 of them nooks.
the scale at the docks stoped at 30 lbs and the one that i got barried the darn thing. took 30 min to put in the boat. they said that it was the first time all season that everyone limited out . oh by the way that hole in and out of depot bay was a kick as the bar was allmost flat. we fished in 200 ft water. the fish were rolling on top of the water even. when i got home and took the fish to the smokers he said we 26lbs of meat , if any of you have a seat open for bouy 10 have cash and pole and do not eat bannanas

I fished with Tradewinds on Jurgen Turner's boat, the Tacklebuster on Friday, Aug. 2 for Halibut. We limited the boat out at the ranch - 14 Halibut. Mine was the biggest at 50" and 55 lbs. Hoping for bigger, but it was a lot of fun. Kept 15 black cod also - can't wait to pickle them up. If you haven't had pickled black cod, you're missing out.

I'm not sure I'd take my 23' North River all the way out to the Ranch. It would probably burn $150 in gas and with my luck, my crew wouldn't chip in. For $160 I thought the charter was a great deal. Was able to sleep all the way out and all the way back!
