Garibaldi 7/31 report

Had another great day out of Garibaldi today. Morning was beautiful but started to get nasty quick around noon.

Got in the water at 6:30 and had 3 hoho's and 1 nook to the boat by 9:00am. Went to 3 arch for some bottom fish. No keeper ling this time. :depressed:

Only had 10 crab in 3 traps but we weren't out very long so that could be why.

Another great day, nothing real exciting, just a great day.

We went out of Garibaldi just before 7am. We had our first fish on at 7:10am. A great day of fishing and ocean cooperated for a couple of hours anyway :grin:
We ended up landing 18 silvers, releasing 13, and keeping 5. NO CHINOOKS!!!!! Not sure where they went??? We tried every depth and all we could catch were coho. Last week all we could catch were chinooks.. That's fishing I guess. Native silvers are running very big!

Now I'm confused, I thought they shut down the ocean coho season on Thursday??

sorry for the confusion..... I fished on thursday as well, just didn't get a chance to post the results until today. Sorry!
