Since I cant seem to post the picture I just took out the window of big blue.
You can see it in "picture uploads" labeled YUK..

It is really blowing right now, and whistling thru the windows....oh yuk.....)(&$%##^^

What's your thoughts right now Wak as far as Friday goes? Newport, Depoe, Garibaldi?

I'm going to head over to Garibaldi tomorrow and see if we can get a limit of salmon in the morning. If the forecast is off we may try to shoot out aways and see if any of our finned friends are out there close.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Hey Wak'm, don't you just love that "wind haze" on the horizon? You don't even need to see the actual water; the haze says it all. Thanks for the shot....are you now offering a new "wak'm cam weather camera"? - Mark

Sure we can call it Wakcam....actually I can email up to dates real easy, when I am here.

Right now it sucks....BUT...I keep checking the weather and what the ocean report is doesn't reflect what they are calling for on TV.

The old hurricane that is dieing out that is coming from the south it supposed to cool things down this weekend.
If this happens I think things could change overnite.

What I think is funny is how ifish salty dogs are becoming meterologists. Heck we are writing our own forecast nowdays, and I agree with you, theirs have been lousy this year.

I will probably stick with the pile because I know it best, BUT......Sunday I am serious about the tuna run from Depoe Bay.

What do you think about Sunday?
But it all goes back to weather....and I do have a good feeling about it.

Just like your local agriculture specialist (farmer) we fishers have a special relationship with the weather. Most farmers become expert weather forecasters as a matter of survival.

Hey thanks...someday I will get that figured out. (picture posting)......this morning it was nice, and I saw the first white caps at 11:30.

I see the weather report is improving.......
