Herring Report Newport

Does anybody have a report on jigging herring as of late. How has it been and where. What about crabs they doing anything out of newport. Thanks for the report in advance

2 days ago the millwright at work jigged a bucket full and said they were big and fat, and still hanging out in frt of the CC station.

Yesterday my son thru pots out in the ocean and they were plugged with females and only two males.
I have heard of nothing but good crab reports, 26 here, and 50 there.......the bright spot is Alsea.......one friend go 72 and many big 8 inchers. last weekend. but it is crowded down there now,

We do have good tides though...hmmmmm...what to do :smile:
