Dumbest Thing I've Heard
A friend of mine told me he was watching a documentary on PETA founder Ingrid Newkirk and said one of her wishes after death was to have her body dissected, cooked, and consumed in solidarity with her animal brethren. I simply don't have the words.......

Re: Dumbest Thing I've Heard
You could save some money by tossing her carcass out on the tundra instead ...

Re: Dumbest Thing I've Heard
Nothing wrong with that, except the dissecting and cooking part. Not sure the animals would appreciate the grand ideals behind her decision, but at least then she'd finally truly be helping the animals!

Re: Dumbest Thing I've Heard
No, Ingrid's comments are what shock me....I spoke to an employee a few minutes ago and she said she heard the same thing.
As far as throwing her in the tundra, how long do you think it would take to break her biomass down into a gallon of petroleum?

When I die I want to be in my coffin face down so my enemies can kiss my <aspirin>, but I DO NOT want my friends eating me.

Re: Dumbest Thing I've Heard
Oh No, First we had Mad Cow Disease from bad brains in the food. Think of what her brain would be like in the animals. Just plain cruel and unusual punishment........

Re: Dumbest Thing I've Heard
Since when did the animals cook their food? If we feed the animals cooked meat, aren't we offering something out of the natural food chain, thus altering their natural diet, thus being cruel to animals?
That's it..the leader of PETA is a fraud (the fraud part is a joke)

Re: Dumbest Thing I've Heard
She acts like a turd now and wants to be a real one in the afterlife. Ugg....people are just to strange.. Reminds me of that idiot and the bears up in alaska. He considered it an honor if he were turned to bear scat. Little did he know he would get his wish.

The "funny" part is sooner or later she will get her wish, sort of. We are ALL going to be recycled into something, some just faster than others. Personally, I told my wife to rototill me into the garden and plant tomatos over me......MMMmmm tomatos. Just not quite YET!!!!!
I wonder if she's ever seen animals eat another animal? It ain't pretty.
