That was a great job on developing your posts. I can tell it took a lot time to develop your posted work. I've posted a copy of your work for others to refer to later, 'cause it's such a nice job. Thanks.

That photo spread was mostly my mates fault. She has the camera and organizing is a strength for her and luckily now for me. It sounds like it had the intended effect. The learning curve on the Ocean is pretty steep now. If you start adding guessing how to catch a new species to the lesson plan it gets unmanageable.

So if any of you figure out how to get into Broadbill (swordfish) or Marlin or even Bluefin Tuna, share what you know and we'll all start catching them.

If we all knew what we all know!

The upcoming halibut days are coming on fast. If all goes as planned, I get Friday and Saturday to ge the last 2 FBs on my tag. Daughter is going one day as a birthday present and the team of Mr. Fisherman and Bait boy on the other. Southpaw will be with us on my daughters birthday trip.

What is the strategy to go with? Do you run to the Chicken Ranch and get FB? Then drag jigs and hunt the longfin while we're out there?

Or maybe go to the Rockpile and get nooks and FB, while drifting or trolling?

This used to be so simple. But as we learn more about fishing the Ocean the choices multiply.

What to do?

Hey that sounds easy Pilar! The ranch and tuna on the calmest day. The rockpile and nooks on the other day.

My sincere thanks for all the hard work in assembling the tuna info, too. Having never fished tuna before, I wouldn't have had a clue where to begin. Now, I think I am ready to give it a stab.

Keep up the great work!
