Odd fish caught off Oregon coast.

I found this site that shows strange fish taken off the Oregon coast in 1997, there where some Yellowtail Tuna, Dorodo, Striped Marlin and more, Looks like some long range big fish scouting trips may be in order......... I remember that year... wasn't that the year they were seeing great white sharks off the lincoln city coast??/

I think it was 1997 when two dudes in a small sport boat caught a striped marlin when fishing for tuna out of Westport, Washington. If I remember correctly, I think they were about 25 miles offshore.

Great white sharks are found as far north as Alaska year round.

Yes! striped Marlin. I can see him next to my boat flashing his pectorals electric blue while I struggle to land him.
