Am not sure am ready to try the long run out to tuna town. But I would like to run for Salmon IF the the big blue will let my 19' duckworth come out to play. I have a DF and VHF radio that I need to test and I can't think of a better test than to hail fellow Ifisher folks.
Anyone going out of tillamook this weekend? I have Sunday to fish this week.
Can I get by with frozen baits or do I need fresh, the HOT SPOTs you guy use, are the 11" or the 8"?
And about those RSK. I have never fished with them, plug and hole on slip M Rigs is all I have ever done. Any help will be welcome.
Thanks in advance.
For the RSK, go with whole herring. Suggestion would be to swap out the hook and leader that came with it and put on a regular dual hook herring rig. That way you can have a free trailing hook. It will increase your catch yield.
I would be careful about this weekend..... Down here on the south coast we are suppose to be getting some gale force winds..... They are suppose to be showing there ugly head sometime today....

I don't know about the Columbia, but I was in Newport this morning and it looked pretty rough. Small craft warnings, 21knot winds and whitecaps in the bay.
Good Luck,
Ed
