Default Sturgeon Fishing in Newport

Anyone know of a good place in or near Newport to fish for sturgeon from the bank?

Thanks!

I understand there is bank fishing for sturgeon in the bay off yaquina bay road between channel markers 25 and 37. Also, between markers 38 and 42 on south bay rd. The area where mill creek comes in above Toledo has bank access. If you have a boat, anywhere between channel markers 25 to 45 is supposed to be good.

Actually, I grew up over there and one spot is towards Toledo on the north side just after Riverbend. Some-what of a pullout there across from Boone island. Look around and you'll see where they fish. There is a few more spots that I know of. E-mail me and I might share! Happy Fishn' Bruce
