That lake has hurt by the flood! it may take years for it to come back unless some one stocks more fish in it. I'm sure it has some bass but it must have lost many in the flood. Save the gass.

I am headed out there in a few minutes. The bass are biting but it is very very slow. They are all spawning right now too so that might be why they have a case of lock jaw. I will post a report when I get back later today

I fished it today. All i could catch were smaller bass, but I did spot (and couldn't get to bite) two fish that I would say would go 4 lbs. I did catch a half dozen trout though...

A local bass fisherman I heard tell a police officer say that he had caught a "10 lb bass" yesterday. Take that for what it's worth.

Sound good. I hope the pond is doing well! I thought a flood would have removed some fish. Just do not know how many.

When I was out there earlier this year I was talking to two guys that are local to that area and from what they said the pond actually didn't flood all that much. It sounded kind of odd that with all the flooding Vernonia experienced that the pond wouldn't do the same, but according to the guys I spoke to the pond didn't flood over.

The lake had a little influx of water right at the peak of the flood. It came in by the West dock. The lake dike is actually fairly high. The water that spilled in didn't even raise the level to the over flow pipe. I doubt any bass escaped, it would have been a pretty steep climb out of the pond. There have been a few nice bass taken this year.
