Default wilson today 2/16

Took my 12 year old son steelhead fishing or the first time this morning as well as my regular fishing partner, boy howdy did it rain. Fished all morning above the guide shop without a single bump. Water looked great, not sure how much this rain will do to the river. Just a FYI to anyone going tommorow, the guide shop was out of sand shrimp this morning and was not sure of when restock. So you might want to call ahead or figure out something else.

Wind was OK, water was blowing. Upper end was turning brown.

Hey LightningRod~

Were you up at MP6? Cuz I think I saw you and your son backbouncing a diver bait? I think that was you right above us.

Anyway, hope you two at least had a great time bonding. Fishing will always do that!

Sublime My son and I were bankin it today. Maybe when I get around to selling my sled and getting a drift boat I can get some good advice and offer some open seats to some of the veterans of the wilson. Saw your post, glad you were able to coax a few of them into biting. My son came away a little soggy but he said he's ready to give it another try.
