Default Twin Rocks

Fishin' is good off Twin Rocks. Caught our limit of 4 in 2.5 hrs. on Sunday trolling east and west between 190' and 210' of water.

Had three Kings/Nooks and one silver. The Chinook went 8, 18, and 28lbs. We caught them with Deep Six Divers (orange), Les Davis (single ought) Dodger, and plug cut herring, about 18" behind the dodger.

We were on a faster troll as we were actually out there for Silvers. They were all caught at 12 pulls. Saturday we were at 18-25 pulls and found it to be too deep....we had several strikes but landed only one small silver. One old timer told us he had been catching chinook with divers at 6 pulls. ...seemed 12 pulls worked fine for us, so we kept 'em there.

Haven't heard if Coho fishing is goign to close...anyone hear what they decided? Doesn't matter as I will be back out there this weekend for Chinook, or will head north if that's open.

Make it a great day!

..that's great... we tried trolling on Friday and were blown away by the wind... we had two strikes on anchovy, and I was using a herring in a plastic holder... we were using a downrigger set for 60 and 100 feet, where we got no hits.... both our hits were at or close to the surface, later in the morning...... We're going out tomorrow morning again... I think I'll give your 12 pulls a try..

Top of the morning... the 3 of us brought in 4 fish yesterday, 31#Chinook, 23#Chinook, and 2x 7#coho..... the water and weather was great, the first time in a long time since I've seen it this nice... looks like it's going to end this Friday.... I'll be building the story throught the next day, but those interested can probably see my progress, starting this morning at my website. this adventure will be at

http://geocities.com/crcfishing09/index.html

oh, we also brought in more than our limit of crabs.... we ended up giving a bunch of crabs to a family in one of those rental boats at Brighton...

.. now it's time for some coffee and to start working on the pictures... Cheers.
