Boater

I am not a member but I am the member of a club who supports WT and their fish conervation efforts. WT is a very active organization politically, socially and in terms of habitat restoration. They have fought against netting in the columbia and done substantial habitat work in the lower columbia river.
However often this wrk is overlooked because they are also outspoken in their stand on hatcheries and the affects they have on wild fish. They are VERY critical of how certain government organizations run their hatcheries and have sued to try and get these problems addressed.
This turns some people off. I'd suggest looking at their website and deciding for yourself. It's easily found with a yahoo search "washington trout"
