Default bug_flicker and joni score chrome

today my wife joni caught her first steelhead, actually she caught 2 steelhead.. we were afraid we were going to get skunked because the first hole we came to uglygreen was casting jigs in it, and gun, rod, bow, was just down from him. so thinking they caught all the fishies in the whole system we trudged on, only to score big in the 2 holes we fished in.. here is joni with her first fish.

it was really neat to see her handle those fish like that, she hooked em up and had them on the bank faster than i could reel up. she said i wouldnt have lost the one i did if i would have quit foolin around and get it banked.

i got my two fish after i lost one on a jig that came unbuttoned.

thanks to bruce for taking the pic, nice to talk to you guys. i hope you got into some fish down low. the weather was so nasty we almost didnt go this morning but im glad we did.
hey bruce did you get anything on that spinner?? or was it too cold. kb

WAY TO GO JONI
Julie and I figured you guys got no farther than the drive way. We woke up in my buddies boat at river place marina downtown Portland and near panicked, we drove home and John took the GLORY B back to steamboat landing. The roads were really bad. One and a half hours from downtown to Battleground.

NICE NICE METAL HEAD

Congrats on the beautiful fish. Good to see someone got out (I couldn't get out of the driveway), but it doesn't look like there was much snow where you were fishing. Happy New Year!

Brad is not a fish hog , he does like to catch fish. I hear GRB is a great guy also. Nice fish the two of you caught.

Nice Fish, of course seeing them in person they were prettier on the river -

We ended up 10 for 12 on the day. One came unbuttoned for no known reason and GRB lost one to a failed knot. (a knot he tied) Snicker snicker. Once again I caught all Bucks today - for about 40ish steelhead so far this winter I have caught ONLY 2 hens total - I see YOU don't have that problem.

BF - It was great seeing you again - nice meeting Joni for the first time, and looking forward to the sturgon challange.

Your wife is a real trooper! She actually looked happy to be out there.

Great to see you guys on the water today.

Thanks to "Big Shad Brad" for the fishin trip.

It was too cold for ME to fish a spinner.

Gettin out was easy, gettin home was tougher. None of my neighbors left today so I had to break trail to my house and nearly stuck it on my road. The snow is up to my hubs!! Drifts knee deep around the barn.

Hey UG, the "Ugly Green" line broke at the egg loop. Can't remember the last time that happened to me. But, as you said, "There is no excuse for terminal tackle failure".

Call me for springers BF and Joni!!!
