Mariners still suck
Officially the worst team in baseball now with a .346 winning percentage. Lost 7 in a row keep it going boys.
If this was NFL or NBA they would already be playing for a draft pick.
7-20 on the road also!!! Bring back Dave Valle, Hendu, Jimmy Presley, Alvin Davis, and crew they did better.

I've said it since day 1, he's not a good fit, they need some fire. The only fire they've shown all season is after Sexson storming the mound.

I agree with you Rogue. Coach must go. John McLaren has no fire in him and it seems to have rubbed off on the entire team. We need someone like Pinella or Jim Leyland who is fired up and gets his team motivated.

The coach has not thrown one pitch....the coach has not had any at-bats, It's not the COACH ! I bet you could not count the amount of "motivational" speaches that the coach has given this year on both hands.  It's the players. It starts on the mound and ends in the batter's box. The team for one is lacking a "Leader", or someone that can lead them that can at least speak good english. Lots of factors guys.....

dorkfish I did see Moyer throw a good one the other day didn't they post 19 runs or something crazy?
A good coach can get the best out of his players and light a fire under them when needed.

I know all too well about losing. My beloved small bears are finally winning. Although watching $oriano (overpaid jerk) drop that ball in the ninth this weekend was terrible. I might have caught that and I would play for free! Hope the M's make it respectable. Hang in there!

Mariners win 2 from Boston !! Keep it going Seattle.....The Phillies with help from the sorry Mets are .5 back of the Marlins.....Phillies have a 3 game series with them starting Friday.

as for the mariners it is coming around. they have picked up the offense but until the last 2 games they still had bullpen problems and starting pitching problems. mostly just mentally lacking confidence. fought hard but couldn't get the wins some games as of late. most troubling to me are the infield errors. my oh my do they kill you.
besides look at the bright side you can get ticket, really good tickets, to the games.
still seeing the Boonie effect where they hit the ball thinking HR but only to the track. roid effect still lives.
