When I asked my girlfriend what she would like to do for V. Day she replied, “Go sturgeon Fishing, everyone else’s girlfriends/wives probably wont let them go out so it shouldn’t be crowded.”
Now I know I’m in love! [img]graemlins/hearton.gif[/img] We headed out below the Gilbert River Sat afternoon and had a great time reeling in 30 or so shakers, no keepers but it was fun. About sunset she nailed a big 6-8 lb channel cat. :grin: I had seen a post on here a while ago inquiring about the presence of Channel Cats in the Mult. Channel. I / She can now verify that they like fresh smelt & put up a good fight. I’ll Post the pic when I get it developed.
I may have to put some serious effort into exploring the Kitty Fishery around here – they sure can taste good.
