It was a little rough again but fishable. We left dock at 0800 and plan for the same departure time tomorrow. Limits without a problem. A couple really nice fish today. Biggest about 60lbs. There was a 101 pounder caught at the Ranch today. Sardine has been the ticket for us.......they wouldn't touch the octopuss.
Its bed time. I've been up 26 hours now but it was worth it!
I'll tell it like it was tomorrow when I'm better rested.

What a great day on BLUE!!!! Conditions were excellent and the catching equally so. We got limits at the Ranch then came back to the Pile for other bottom dwellers and chinook. The pile was producing halibut as well as the ranch. It was phenominal! Big lings and grouper filled out our catch and we only hooked one small yellow eye all day.

I saw pilar at the ramp. It was nice to finally meet you in person John.
He will have a heck of a fish story for ya when he gets around to posting. I wont say any more....except ......Naaass Feeesh John!

I'll let threemuch start out the description of the day. So Puffin has 1 killer radio or something. We were reading him from 3-Arch rocks. I believe he was out of Newport. He had a cheer in his voice and even though I heard just a blip I know it was him. Then loud and clear I hear, "Dramamine is for pu$$ies". (cats that is) I know it is Puffin then. :smile:
