Pock plie kings
The ocean looked good this morning so I ran inside the north end and caught my chinooks. One over 30 and another just under.
Thess were the hottest fish I have hooked in some time and they almost spooled me.

Oh thats a beauty WAK! I gotta get out there soon. Time to get the downriggers mounted. Were you fishing with the commercial fleet. They were working the north end last year.

Re: Pock plie kings
Yes it was the same area that everyone was fishing last year...but yesterday I was the only boat out there. When I started in I marked more fish when I started to pull away from the pile in 240 ft of water.
I did come across a couple of bait fish schools that were huge....and reach from the surface to the bottom.

Re: Pock plie kings
Ya there are some huge scools of bait out there. We saw some of them on our return trip from the ranch in May.
