No more FB reports?

I woke up at 2am Saturday and looked at the bouy report and went back to sleep. From the lack of reports It seems like i'm not the only one. Anybody besides Fishplay get out? Looks like another open weekend!

My friends on the Serious Fun got out on Friday and got 2 for 2. They reported only about 25 boats by the time they left. They went out on Sat. a couple of miles and came back. They reported an awful cross swell that came together and humped up, even though no white caps. It was predicted to get worse, so they bagged it. Of course it was easier with a 37" and 51" in the freezer from the day before and limits on the other hali dates.

Well we made it out on the first day and ended up with 42, 44, 47 and 48 inchers. We did take a beating comming back in. The second day we made it almost to the pile and turned back because it just kept getting worse and im glad we did from the charter boat reports.

Looks like I picked the wrong day. I skipped Friday and tried Saturday. With Threemuch and Mr. Fisherman in 'Threemuch', we went out about 3 miles and turned around.

About noon my mate and I went out again and tried to find a fish off the lighthouse.

The conditions had improved so we went out to the rockpile and found 2 lings. Big ocean equals limited opportunies.

'Puffin' went out both days, limited Friday and took 2 nice fish Saturday.

The ODFW fishchecker told me that Saturday 70 boats went over the bar and by 0800 50 had returned.

There should be no problem with the quota getting filled. Look for the 21, 22 June dates to be validated soon.
