Hey Oregon, how about following suit, so to speak?
This just in from RFA:
Washington State Files Suit Against FERC on Wave Energy
Washington's Department of Ecology has filed a lawsuit in the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals seeking to overturn the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission policy on "conditioned licenses" for wave energy. "This is welcome news," reported RFA West Coast Regional Director Jim Martin. "We've been hoping that some state agency would take legal action on the West Coast, where wave energy project proposals have been sprouting up like mushrooms, with no rulemaking process and without stakeholder involvement." Not only would these wave energy power plants restrict fishing access, the permitting process is speeding ahead without considering the impact on fish and other marine species.
