Default does anyone have a momarsh fatboy DP?

I was wondering if anyone out there ownsa fatboy dp and is there a place around here to buy one. I am looking for one for the upcoming waterfowl season. I have heard a lot of good things about them and i wanted to see what the serious waterfowl hunters of the northwest think about them. I know about the marsh rat but it looks a little to small. I want a skiff for hunting at sauvies when johnson is floatation only. it looks like it is a great way to smash the greenheads that love that part of the island. any suggestions are good.

I have an Old Town 14' Predator Kayak that I am going to sell. It is a hunting kayak, lot's of room for decoys and very stable. You can see it and it's specs. on the oldtown website.

I have the original fatboy (not the dp) and based my decision to pass on the DP because of the motor mount. I felt the cockpit design on the original provided more cockpit room. Also, given the uses I had in mind for the boat, the "Dual Purpose" of the DP was not needed. I needed a straight up marsh boat.

I've had it for four seasons now and could not imagine hunting a season without it. I don't use it on every hunt, but when I need it, it's worth it's weight in green heads

We customized them quite a bit. Added lights (wired into a 12v system) and lots of nylon eyelets for bungee cords. A few other minor things. Great buy for me. We had them freight shipped to a place in Delta Park. Was no problem picking them up.

Why do you have it licensed if it can't support a motor? Just curious. Do you use an electric motor or ??

It does support a motor, thus the tag. I run a 3.5 hp Nissan on it. I use the paddles in some cases... I don't always need the motor. Some places forbid the use of motors, some places are too skinny for a motor... it just depends.

I don't see a four rivers boat here. What gives? All I see is a bunch of weeds.
Just messing Lonnie.
Great pics.
