Open Seat Sunday - Depoe Bay
Am going out from Depoe Bay tomorrow morning (sorry for the late notice) and have 2 open seats available. Will be going out for inside 40 fathom Halibut, and possibly a little bottom fishing.
Boat was splashed this afternoon, and checked out all systems a go.
I do not plan on making a full day out of it, but plan to have a little fun getting some white gold.
PM me ASAP for info if you want to go, or can call my cell phone if you have the number.
Wind and seas don't look too bad for tomorrow so going to take advantage of it while I have the chance.

Re: Open Seat Sunday - Depoe Bay
Just a quick update, and sorry for the late notice last night....
The ocean was beautiful with maybe a 3' swell, and very low wind waves. A very nice day to be on the ocean. It's only going to start getting worse this week.
The fishing was absolutely awesome!!!
The catching on the other hand was not so much so. Had 0 bites even. It's still early for the Halibut off of the light house. I saw 2 or 3 other sport boats out there in the area, saw no fish caught at all. The fog was thick, with maybe 50yards visibility. Always nice to have that Radar in cases like that.
I was going to go hunt for some bottom fish, but I really didn't bring the gear for that. I just splashed the boat yesterday, so have not fully stocked the fishing gear aboard as yet. That's this afternoon's project.
Was a great day for a boat ride, so it's all good.
