Default It was warm.... and stayed that way

Sure yesterday's temps were climbing ..... but so was I! I decided to head out and got a few pics..... I missed one ATL, because I just went out to glass a spotted it and headed for it right away.
I ended with 2 6 pt sides, and a set of 2 pt, in which are spikes with an eye guard.

I spotted these and thought they were bigger.... but the points I seen were all there was!

I then drove to another spot after finding the set and a 6 pt side as mentioned before.... and this was right off the road.....

I glassed some good looking country as well, and will be heading back next weekend.... because I was the only tracks out there!!

Keep the pics coming. I'm like you i always leave my camera in my glovebox. I'm hoping with this hot weather i can get up to Penland lake area to do some scouting in a couple weeks.

Glad to see that you posted the shed'n trip. This year looks to be a bust as far as my shed'n goes, unless i take a walk next weekend while camping. Seeing all the pics and guys talking about it makes me want to set aside some time to look for some myself next year. Anywho...talk to ya later.

Great pics as usual. Eagleclaw, FYI the road to Penland is now open. Like MM said, water is everywhere. Ditch Creek is so full it is flowing over road 53.

I had to take my waders with me going after a Tom. I'm headed up this weekend to finally glass a few spots. Hopefully the shed/morel gods will be shining.
