Default Late chicken ranch report

On 5/10 we got our first 4 fish at the chicken ranch in about an hour. It took us another 2+ hours to get our 5th fish. They did seem smaller to us this year. We did get one 50". We looked to see what it had eaten and it had a small lingcod about 10 inches long in its stomach and that was it. Threw back 3 under size and caught one bottom fish (no it was not orange).
Second day, we got lucky and landed our first 4 on the first drift (about 20 minutes total). We would have bagged our 5th also but picked up a small shark instead (arrrggg!) Picked the 5th one at start of second drift and we were out of there in a little over a 1/2 an hour. Another 50"er and one 47" other 3 were in the 30's.
Like everyone else it was rough, we got beat up, but we got our fish and still had fun.
The first day we saw some guys that had 2 nice flatties and 2 very nice chinook (one about 25 and the other around 30lbs). They said they caught them on the rock pile. We also saw one group with five apx. 50 inchers. They all looked like they came out of the same cookie cutter (very nice fish). They said they got them at the ranch but that was all they would say.
Sure enjoyed everyone elses posts.
Thanks
