Re: Canby Pond
It went super well. I mean these kids are great to work around! Courtesy and safety are two things all these kids knew well. Very few kids ,of the nearly a hundred? that showed, left without a fish.

Re: Canby Pond
The action is still red hot, if you know what you are doin.
Light pressure, big fish. Bites on every cast, limits in 15 minutes.
What are you waiting for? A better report?
Kyle, I know you have recently moved up to a heavier addiction...

Re: Canby Pond
It was a blast and the Scout leaders and volunteers (like Mitch) did a great job.
Both of my sons caught fish that were of good size and they went home with a greater love for fishing and bigger egos . Great event.

Re: Canby Pond
Still open to everyone that has a fishing license, or is too young for it to be required.
I just answered this at the pond, was that you? Good luck!

Re: Canby Pond
Musta been me I only talked to one person, by the way home-made rostertales worked great, not every cast but good enough. Never been there made me think of some ponds that I fished when I was just a littlen. Should have done some fish chating.

Well, the bite has aboslutely died with the Cottonwoods dropping their load.
But that reminded me, of a another fishery nearby.
