Kokes this weekend??
From just reading reports and having been to Suttle last weekend, I'm wondering where the best bet to catch some kokes this weekend will be. Suttle seems to be slowing down, Odell doesn't seem to have started up real good yet. So should it be Wickiup or LBC??
Thanks from a kokanee rookie!

Re: Kokes this weekend??
From what I have heard is that there are some Kokes being caught at Wickiup, but not sure if we are talking limits, or a few, but I will find out this weekend, heading overther either Wednesday night, or thursday afternoon. Don't know about LBC, but remember that it is now a 5 Koke limit and is part of the trout limit.
Good luck
Joe

I'm sticking with Suttle, mostly because it is closer and I know the lake. I will be there from Friday late afternoon until Sunday.

Re: Kokes this weekend??
The action at Wickiup sounds like it has been good. The fish are smallish, but both troller and jiggers have been having success. There have been reports of limits being taken.

Re: Kokes this weekend??
Based on what I saw last Friday, lots of kokes on the jig but smaller. Kokes being taken on the troll about 20 feet down but bigger. You can limit if you work for them.

If any of you end up at Wickiup and see a couple of guys trolling in a black boat with orange numbers, come over and say hi. I plan on getting to Wickiup Thursday afternoon unless, by some miracle, Diamond Lake ices off by Thursday morning.

Re: Kokes this weekend??
Wickiup may be a busy place this weekend. I leave in the morning. I have a 22 ft black Starcraft Chieftain. I will be trolling with downriggers and looking for other Ifishers.
Good luck ET
