Springer rumors
I heard a rumor that Slutgoddess Bill caught an 18lb springer for his first 2004 springer trip on Saturday!
I helped him eat half of that rumor on Saturday evening. Bbqed to perfection!
Thanks Bill!
Chris

Re: Springer rumors
Way to go, SG!
Every time I think about cooking springer, I think of the way Chris made it at our house with chipolte peppers. I have tried a zillion times to do it the same, and can't do it right!
Dang, that was the BEST springer I ever had!!!
SG, I want to go with you and eat half of your springer with Chris, too!

Re: Springer rumors
Hi Chris,
Word has it you and Bill were trying to catch another "Rumor" on Sunday. It was good to see you out fishing and not working so hard.

Re: Springer rumors
Hey Rodger, good to see you out there too! Did you find any biters? Nice day for a boat ride anywise. Thanks for the pictures.
Jen, I'll come down and cook some more springer... if I ever catch one. Maybe I can buy one from Bill.

Re: Springer rumors
I think what worked on Saturday was having no expectations of catching....I went out for a short test run to check out some recent adjustments and try out the wireless remote. Just a get ready and check it out trip. While playing with the wireless....I put out a whole green lable with 3' drop and 5' to bait. Trolling down river in 10' of water with my back turned to the rod. There you go...Give it a try.

Re: Springer rumors
Congrats Bill. Tracy and I tried Sunday but didn't have the same luck. We did however have the same expections.

Re: Springer rumors
I think it is time to take you up on that, SG!
Don't let Chris fool you. Every time I see him, he has salmon, crab, halibut, SOMETHING that he recently killed! That guy can kill things like no other!
If you want to catch a springer, call Chris. He's modest. He's probably already caught his share, and got his clients their share, too!

Re: Springer rumors
Thanks Jennie,
I don't have any springers yet but my first trip is scheduled in early March when I return from Alaska. I did get to go out with Bill for a few hours on Sunday but no luck for me. I don't have crabs either  but here's a Tillymook pic dated 1982..must be a mis print, I couldn't have looked that old in 82?
