Leaving for CA today for the Moss Landing, CA Chinook opener. I will post a report when I return. I have a streak to keep alive. 6 out of the last 7 years we have limited on Chinook. And the year we didn't, we put in a 70 pound Thresher Shark.

Well, our streak of early limits is dead, but we got some nice fish, including this 15 pound Chinook.



Pretty nice grade for the opener. Anyway, average boat had 1 fish to 1.5 fish per angler, we were slightly under that at 3 fish for 6 chances for 4 guys.
