Be careful and read the fine print. I used Turbo T and did a direct deposit, so I expected mine last week. BUT then I read on the irs website, that if you had ANY fees taken out of your refund (i.e. went through ANY tax preparation company) that would change your "refund" to PAPER CHECK.. Eeeek... I am 8 ZERO.. I am looking at JULY 4.....yuck, I could use it now!!

I got mine last Friday, right on time. Remember, it’s the last 2 digits of the SSN for who filed your taxes (no, not your accountant’s). I make all the money, but my wife does our taxes. So it came based on her SSN.

I'm 63 also, NO payment yet! HR block e-file, but payed with credit card I think...

Tried to check "where's my stimulus check" but the site is down...

I've got a mechanic jsut itching to take it away from me...hope its gets here soon!

I heard something on the news last night that there was a double issue. Something about a box not getting checked, and a glitch resulting in a delay of some of the checks until possibly July. Apparently some people's checks got deposited into wrong accounts.. etc.. They said they'll iron it out, but it will take until mid-summer. I hope you're not one of those!

I just got this email from the online tax company that I filed with this year. Not sure if it applies to everyone that is still "missing" their rebate, but I am sure it applies to some. Basically if you paid for your online tax service with your refund, then you are going to get a snail mail check regardless if you direct deposited your refund or not.... hope this helps somebody out there... see below for more info.....

Recently, you may have received a letter from the IRS advising you when to expect your Economic Stimulus Payment (rebate). That IRS letter may have inadvertently left off some important information. Got it....spent it....do you feel the economy getting better yet? You should I spent it on a large electronic product manufactured in Asia. So I sent the money back to the place where my Government borrowed the "stimulus" in the first place.
