multi boats capsize on HC

there were several boats that capsized in lower hood canel yesterday. one death and several people in the hospital due to hypothermia. no real small boats 20fters. NO life jackets being worn. i was out there in north HC it was snotty. BE careful wear your PFDs! theses boats looked like they were close to shore.

did not see that this subject was already posted on. the other boateres were digging geoducks. have a friend who lives just west of alderbrook on the canel after getting his shrimp he spent the next several hours waitong for the wind, waves to calm down so he could tie up to his bouy and row to shore.
