Default South Fork Nehalem Steelhead

Can you expect all steelhead in the main Nehalem (south fork) to be native fish or is there any hatchery plants made in this river? I guess a person might catch a stray from the NF Nehalem in the lower main river but I'm more interested in the water above the Salmonberry and higher up, past Spruce Run Park or Jewell or up to Vernonia. Lots and lots of water that is rarely fished.

Mostly all native. I did catch one hatchery buck of about three pounds about five years back. Probably a NF stray.

There's been no hatchery plants in the Main river for over 5 years.
