Default Davis Bass (almost time)

The lake should be accessible by Memorial day and the fishing should be excellent for pre-spawn Largemouth. Anybody heading up? Please remember to keep every bass you catch. Do it for the trout.

The last time I fished Davis I had a great day for trout. The bass were tiny and as I brought one in one of the biggest rainbows nailed it. I have yet to fish it for bass but plan to do so this year.

I'm looking forward to getting in there as well. should be fun. Skip has some awesome flies that I'm itching to try.

I went to the bash last year and got blanked. But I'm the first to admit I suck at stillwater.

So when is the big kill planned for this lake. . .when the bulls are safely in the creeks?

Based on the results from Diamond Lake..................it should have been about two years ago.

I'm hoping that we can get rotenone on the Agenda sometime soon. I think we have proven over the last two seasons that it is pretty much impossible to fish out the bass.

Given that it too ODFW almost a decade to get it done at Diamond, I'm guessing that it will be rotenone'd sometime in 2019....

I hope that the lake dries up like it did in the 90's. Then we can start over.
