Shameless Self-Promotion

Hey everyone,

I decided I'd do some shameless self-promotion.

I'm a Middle School Science teacher from the Salem, Oregon area, and am looking for an opportunity to get SALTY!

I've never been fishing in the ocean before, however am interested in possibly catching some Halibut or Tuna. I have a difficult schedule with multiple jobs, but would like an opportunity to get out on the ocean. (Was in San Fran this week and went out to Alcatraz on a nice big boat, and forgot how much fun the pond can be.)

I don't have any open ocean gear, I don't know how to catch them, but have a great time even not catching, and would like an opportunity if anyone has seats to give. I'm a non-smoking, drinking on occasion, large frame guy with a sense of humor, and want to give it a shot.

So, if anyone wants some companionship on the high seas one of these weekends, lemme know. It's hard to get days off, but I can pull it off most of the time.

I may not know what I'm doing (yet) but really want to learn! Willing to bring bait, gas money, etc.. provided that's still legal.
