Trampoline :)
Tomorrow we are excavating a trampoline from the drift down from our house.
Bank anglers beware! It's not going to be very fish friendly there for a while.
Hey, if anyone wants to come help out....
It's not going to be an easy task.
Anyone have a wet suit?
The Kilchis is pretty low, so I doubt anyone, even bank anglers will be there, but thought I'd give a heads up.

Re: Trampoline :)
I know you picked up most of the springs from your yard. Is there anything left to salvage of the trampoline or is this more of a garbage cleanup? Seems like the river would have torn it up pretty well.

Re: Trampoline :)
Jennie you should leave it in that drift till the low water of next summer ,it will be easier to pull out plus think how much fishing gear that will be snagged and broken off by those remaining springs in the next 6 or 7 months.Your own little gold mine ,just remember where it is when you cast.......................

Re: Trampoline :)
We are going to give it a try. It's a really good plug hole, and it looks ugly down there.
I know... It's better than bed springs, but the kids want it, and I can't stand the looks of it in the river. It's embarrassing!
It's still intact, missing three legs that I can have made. I'm afraid another high water, and it'll be gone all together!

Re: Trampoline :)
Jennie, the wife says she saw a program on DYI or HGTV a few weeks ago that showed how you could use a trampaline to make a gazebo. I will see if I can locate those directions, just in case. Hummm does that mean you can jump off your deck onto the gazebo or what? Sounds different.

Re: Trampoline :)
We huffed, and we puffed, and now my back is out!
We can't get it to budge! It's partially sanded in.
I can't think of any way to get it out of there! If anyone has any great ideas, the kids would bow down to you and kiss your feet!
They SEE there old friend, and they can't get to it! Arghhhh!
We need a line of 10 powerful men!--Or a jet sled!!! Oops, that is illegal!
One, two, three.... PULLLLLLLLLLLLL!

Re: Trampoline :)
is there a way of getting a truck with a winch down in there. If not you could use ropes and a hi lift jack and make a make shift winch and just inch buy inch pull it out of the sand. Just an idea.

Re: Trampoline :)
Might try a come-along too. Either using this or a winch will probly end up bending the frame but it's better than not getting it back at all.

Re: Trampoline :)
If you got a Digital Camera, post a picture of the frame and surroundings, I am sure there are a lot of people on this page who are good at solving problems like this.
