Re: GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! (Not fishing related)
im an OSU student, and i hope the best for the ducks, but i honestly think this one will go the buffs way... They are the hottest team in the nation right now...
watch out for the beavs over the next 3 years... they are gettin great recruiting, despite a marginal year.

Actually, if you kick a Dawg, you're going to get the ***** chewed out of your leg. It's not our fault that the last great day to be an Orygun Duck was Jan 1..................1917. Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!

Hey Dan,
Hahahahahahahaha....1917 hahahahahahahaha....Champs? hahahahahahahaha....Tie w/ NU for the NC if MU loses hahahahahahahaha OH, these Duck fans are killing me. They didn't learn their lesson when they repeatedly got leapfrogged in the BCS poll. Enjoy the Bowl game, its back to obscurity after Harrington leaves. Hahahahahahaha

Re: GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! (Not fishing related)
Dan, Dan, Dan...the Ducks have been kickin' the Dawgs pretty darn consistently of late. True, we have yet to win "The Big One"--but my boys have another chance come Tuesday. AND, if they win, Saltine, they will be at least #2 in both polls, with a shot at a split NC if Nebraska beats UM. Tough pill to swallow for a Dawg ay? You all point to 1991 and your shared NC as the pinnacle of Dawg achievements. Well, it's time to move over LITTLE DAWG, cause the BIG DUCK is movin' in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HUSKIES SQUAT TO ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! (Not fishing related)
I'd rather squat than waddle.
2001 Rose Bowl Champs: UW Huskies
1917 Rose Bowl Champs: UO Ducks
Any questions?
KIDDING.....really........no, really.

Re: GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! (Not fishing related)
WildHawg, looks a little bleak for your choices. Right now the Dawgs are kicking the 'Horns arse. GOOD.
My son is leaving for the Fiesta Bowl tomorrow. He attends U of O, and is an excited Duck fan.
It will probably be a long drive back to Oregon. I am rooting for the Ducks, but the Buffs are the hottest team in college ball right now. They should be playing Miami, not Nebraska.
Last bowl game against Colorado, Neuheisel's team blew Belotti's team out of the water. Even though Neuheisel is your beloved Dawgs coach now, history will repeat itself in my opinion. Not hoping for that outcome, but smart money is on the Buffs. Miami will be #1, Ducks probably 5th or 6th.
P.S. Dawgs just scored again.
Go Dawgs!

Re: GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! (Not fishing related)
Looks good for the squaters!! But really, I would rather see you brag about a win over good Texas team, than beating that Crapie (Crapie is a fish) Purdue team last year. I know it was the Rose Bowl and all, but pleeeaaassseee. Cal could have beat that team.
(By the way four different U of O QB's have beat the Huskies 5 of the last 7 times.)
I'm hoping for two more Pac 10 wins....

Re: GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! (Not fishing related)
'clipped,
You have the same misconception that many Oregon fans do.........the point of playing football in the Pac-10 is to win the Rose Bowl, NOT beat Washington. Maybe once UO figures that out, they'll be in good shape.
'Horns are coming back.......making me nervous.

GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! (Not fishing related)
After reading the thread about the Whimpering Pups below, I thought I'd add this one for my Ducks!!
I don't like the 'Horns, but I despise the DAWGS!! I don't care who they're playin'--or how it affects the image of the Pac 10, or the Ducks season. I want to be able to sleep at night, not roll around questioning my own integrity. I don't care who wins the Holiday Bowl--only the outcome of the Fiesta Bowl matters to this Duck.
With a win, the Ducks are guaranteed at least a number 2 ranking. Add in a Nebraska upset of Miami--and you have a split National Championship with the Ducks likely ranked #1 in the AP poll. Now that would be satisfying!!!
In parting, I want all you Dawg fans to ponder this truism: It takes a shotgun to bring down a Duck, all you gotta do is KICK (5 out of 7!!) a Dawg and it goes whimpering off!!!!!
WHEEEEEAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! (Not fishing related)
Ancient Chinese proverb states--"Duck who quacks last, quacks best!!" What happened to the Dawgies?
21 points ****** away just like that!!
Seriously though, it was a heck of an entertaining game, especially if you didn't care who won!
Maybe next year Pup's. I will say that Pickett is developing into a pretty good Q-Back (will look even better when his shoulder heals), and Reggie Williams has a very bright future.
I'm already looking forward to our matchup at the new Autzen Stadium next year. Think it's loud now? Just wait!!!

Re: GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! (Not fishing related)
Hawg,
Did they kick out some anarchists so Phil Knight would open his checkbook back up?
Well, it looks like it's up to the Ducks and Cougs to get the Pac some bowl wins. Dawgs put on a pretty impressive show........BUT giving up 27 in the 4th Q. just isn't going to get it done.
Looking forward to next year's matchup.
