Default Lowrance LCX 330c (Any one own one of these)

Anyone own one of these new color sonar/GPS combos. Any feedback would be appreciated. I'm equipting my new sled and looking for a good Sonar/GPS combo.

Recommendations on dual frequency or not? If I get the dual frequency, it looks like the 200khz transducer beam is only 12degree, which is half the area of a single transducer model. My understanding is that the 50khz transducer is 35degree beam, however, you sacrifice the detail of the 200khz transducer.

Am I better off to just get a single frequency 200khz model if I will primarily be fishing rivers, bays, and occasionially just over the bar?
This transducer thing confusing.

Looks like a great color unit though for around $650.00.

Any feedback would be helpful.

Thanks for the info. 5 Cents... I saw the 104c. Ultimately, that's the one I would own, but the $$ play a role for me. I'm definately sold on the color option. Thanks for the feedback.

I just got the Lowrance LXC 104-C on my new boat and it simply awesome... you will not be sorry.

I got the dual frequency unit... the 50 KHZ will really help in the salt where you can actually track your downrigger line and ball down to the fish, thats where you want to use it, but I think my unit has the wider angle with the 200 KHZ.

I can easily spot sturgeon on the bottom with my unit. Yesterday when I was out I marked only small fish in one of my usual haunts moved up stream graphing the bottom along the way... 200 yrds up marked several nice fish, anchored above them and within 15 minutes had 3 keepers! Very unfair, very nice
