Game Review Mari Kart Wii
OK Sunday at midnight I went down and picked up the new Mario Kart for the Wii (with the wheel) and this game is a blast. You can race four people at once or you can go online and race people from all over the world (today I was kicking some Canadian tosh A). The online is great because you can set it up where if you have friend online you can play with them in races or matches. Graphics are great game play is seamless not choppy at all. It brings back all the old tracks along with the new ones also. This is defiantly a Family must have nothing better then three people sitting on the couch trying to beat the other one.
So for Mario Kart Wii I gave the 10 out of 10 Awesome game!
Oh and if you have it and you want to swap friend codes let me know I will send you a PM ( see and ifish challenge match coming on haha)

Re: Game Review Mari Kart Wii
My buddy got a Wii for the kiddies for Christmas. Very cool game. The boxing game made my arms sore the next morning!!!
I guess there is some kind of excercise game for it. Well his wife started using it, and is now 46 lbs lighter!!!

Re: Game Review Mari Kart Wii
I get reminded every day about the new Mario Kart. I plan on buying one this weekend.... Now I just need to set it up online.
Old School Mario Kart rocked so I'm sure this new one will just flat out kick it.

Re: Game Review Mari Kart Wii
we love our Wii... but games and accessories are EXPENSIVE.
How much would it cost to buy the game and 4 wheels so the whole family can play together??

Re: Game Review Mari Kart Wii
Got it Sunday also, Great game. Troutinator, game itself is $50, and comes with one wheel, extra wheels are $10 at best buy right now. The kicker is that each wheel needs a Wiimote. Thats another $40 each unless you already have 4 of them

The wiimote actually fits into the steering wheel.

Re: Game Review Mari Kart Wii
You don't actually "need" the wheel to play the game.
It's just a nice "feel" thing, makes you think/feel like you are holding a steering wheel. You can use the wii remote in the same fashion, just turn it sideways and use it like a steering bar on a motorcycle.
There's also an option to use the nunchuck for steering and the wii remote for firing the turtle shells etc.
I agree with Ryan though...this game is great!

Re: Game Review Mari Kart Wii
I dont like to use the wheel I use the wii mote and play like a handle bar on a bike. Also if you have game cube controllers you can play with them. rp

Re: Game Review Mari Kart Wii
This is my favorite Wii game yet. Close second is the crossbow game.
All of you should buy it. You don't need the wheel. Actually I like using a plain controller not the wheel...
