Default On the way to the Archery Shop

Well, Robbie and I decided to go up to Kutch to shoot a little this evening and we saw some critters. First we came across this group of bulls. About 11 I think.

Then, down the road was the nursery group. About 28 of them.

Around the corner we spotted these vultures feeding on what appeared to be a yote the land owner eliminated. There were actually around 15 or so, but a few flew around as I took the pic.

Then a half mile up the road I spotted another group of bulls a ways out.

On the way home I took this one of the first group of bulls cause I thought it was cool with a few on the pile.

We had a good time shooting and Robbie got some more practice in. He'll be 6 in June. Someday I hope to have a camera setup like Duckboy so I can share some quality photos with you guys.

Know that road well. Spent many a day rippin' up the hills around there in my blurry youth.

Me too, although my days are blurry any more. All of these elk were within less than a mile of each other. They've been hanging around a little more this year for some reason.

Saw the same groups of bulls in the same places several times back in Jan/Feb when we were going up to Kutch's regularly.

Gotta love it!!

They're already sporting new growth. So cool to watch.

Yep, Thorntons' place. Dale's family. He lives east of this now.

OK, maybe when I'm sleep deprived from fishing or hunting too hard they may be.
