No skunk on the North River...........
We took our Valentines present out for it's maiden voyage yesterday. Cruised around for awhile to get the break-in time on the motor. Then decided to try to get a fish in the boat so there would be no new boat skunk. Anchored near the mouth of the channel and got a couple of small shakers, then moved up by St. Johns bridge and fished for awhile. Got a couple more shakers of pretty good size and then I got a keeper to the boat. It had some really weird holes eaten into it's head down to the cartilage, so let it go . By the time we got back to Fred's the bottom had dropped out of the sky and we got soaked  !!
Love that boat !!!!!!!!!!!

Nice shakedown trip. Boy, the skies did open end of the day, didn't they? We were looking at the river, thinking, it'll let up soon, right?

Re: No skunk on the North River...........
Well Froggy, you take many $$$$$$ and go talk to Scott at North River!!!! We traded the Osprey in on the NR. We really loved that boat, but it just wasn't going to be big enough for the grandsons to go with us once they wanted to fish!!!
