Default Sand Shrimp???

I am fishing the Wilson in the morning and am looking for some sand shrimp. Does anyone down there have any? Last trip the Guide Shop was out. Fisherman's is out today, might get some in the morning but that is the wrong way. Any ideas?

I couldn't find any this morning, but they were the ticket ... fortunately someone who had extras and just filled their limit asked if I wanted any! Must be the Christmas spirit!

I just drove like wildfire to get to that big sporting goods store before they closed.
The ONLY place I know that has them right now is that big sporting store in Tillamook, and they aren't open until 8!!! Who starts fishing at 8???
Guide shop is out, last I heard. Today they only gave them out to those they were shuttling, or something, so I heard.
My fav, Tillamook bait, is closed for a while.
I dunno. Wait till 8? Anyone have any other ideas?

What about Carol's (in Tillamook)over by the wonder bread Co? We used to be able to get pretty good shrimp there. But that was a couple of years ago, anyone know if she is still selling shrimp?

Anybody find any live sandshrimp in the Portland/SW WA area? I'm hoping I can find some in the morning.

We need to get the stores to start keeping the boxes of shrimp upside down. Keeps them from drowning in their own pee. I know I know, it sure makes the bait frig get ripe!
Or maybe they die from those window shoppers standing in front of the bait frig with the door open for 15 minutes.
I always go for the very back boxes in the frig, the ones that don't get that blast of warm air every time the dood opens.
One thing to remember: If you get to know your local sporting goods employee by name.
A lot of them have a frig in the back.
If you call them up somtimes they'll put a few boxes in the back. Just make sure you don't bite the hand that feeds you. If you call-pick em up!

Carol's on third street has the best in town, if her pumper has been getting out. Tell her I sent you (and maybe she will still sell you some) LOL.

Fisherman's has been getting them from D&G Bait in Clackamas. The Jantzen Beach Fisherman's got one dozen boxes at 11:45 this morning ... they never made it into the refrigerator.
