Default Halibut coordinates???

Halibut season starts thursday and I could use some coordinates west of the Columbia River. I had em in my GPS and somehow lost em. A little help please from veterans of this area would be much appreciated. Thanks...

There are no Halibut off the CR! Haven't you been reading, they're gone!

I think you need to go further south.

I guess nobody told the charters that the halibut are gone because they are still going out. Has there been some articles recently about a shortage?? We have caught them west of Ilwaco several years in row, they are not huge but they have been there. We will try to follow a charter if we can keep up I guess.

Get a chart look for the peaks on the edge of the canyon. I asked the same thing last year and got the same reply. The quota is small. Hope you get some.

Set A 240 heading and run out about 23 to 26 miles. you will find the
fleet of charters. Or run out till you are at the top of the canyon. that is
where they will be.
