It looks l;ike you could put enough line on to fish from the guide shop to Donaldsons without leaving the Guide shop hole. However the challenge would be to get enough line on the Calcuttaso it would be longer than your leaders. How much lead would you need for casting?

I think the real challenge is finding a strong small rod for it.

Now that's funny....what a nice joke of a present. Way to go Bev, looks like you won. If your looking for a stout rod for that reel, try making your own out of tooth picks.

Default Reels for real!

Bev's trying to get the comptitive edge on me. She asked me what I wanted for Xmas and I yelled a "Calutta" and she said an Ambassadeur.

Well, you tell me, do you think shes trying to bend the odds here?

Ya I've fished with you Dot. We have to try wahtever we can to gain an edge over you. If all of your outings are like they were the day on the Ol Sea Swan I'm surprised that she didn't just give you some thread and a safety pin.

Lol Dan!
