whats the story on Big creek and Gnat creek ?

Just would like to know if anyone has fished or been by Big creek or Gnat Creek and how the condtions and fishing might be.. Thanks Garret

Garret, the water is dropping and should be full of fish and Fishermen. The best time for the small streams around Astoria is when the water is rising and before discoloring. Don'e give up when it starts to turn colors. Use bigger baits and you will still catch fish in the pocket waters. Keep us posted.

Ok i am going to big creek in the morning will letyou know how we did...has anyone had any luck there this year for them silver bullets?

Fished big creek Saturday til 12:00 I ended up with 1 buck that I let go and a foul hooked fish that I broke off. My friend had one on and lost it, only saw 4 other fished caught pretty slow compared to a week ago when there was some water in the creek. We ended up with 11 fish on for two of us.
We really need some more rain, good luck and let me know how you do. :tongue:

well i just got back from Big Creek was slow but managed to nail a 10 pound hen....seen 2 others caught ...we need a little ran for then fish to move ...

Garret, thanks for the report and congrats! I agree we need some rain. Soory for the razz face thought it was just a happy face clicked add reply and there it was sticking it's tounge out, stop that but it was to late Good luck on the next trip.
