I'm installing a gun turret on the bow of my Glacier Bay post haste. And I knew those rocket launchers were gonna be good for something someday. FIRE!

Hopefully firing range training on the open ocean. We could reserect Crazyfish's old leaky boat and tow it off shore. Then we could take turns firing at will. Find another old boat and repeat. Talk about fun!

When I saw the first post I was going to jump in saying I wanted a naval cannon.....READ this again guys...More restrictions. Red tape, governmental intrusion.
I heard at a Doryman's meeting a few years ago that the government wanted to put tracking devices much like the system on a UPS truck on our boats. Starting with the commercial fishermen & later filtering to the sport boats. This was to make sure that they fished where they were supposed to. You would have to write and register a float plan. If you deviated from it, for instance driving over an marine protected area, you could be fined or questioned. I was told that with a dory, on a trailer if you missed the turn into the gas station and went around the block that this could be a reason to search.
I have never been one for conspiracy theory but we better take this seriously.
