Default How many new computers do we have today? 12-25-01 If not a computer what did you get?

With all the good prices I was wondering did any body get a new computer.

Did Santa bring any new toys to good boys and girls...

Santa teated me early this week. All the new stuff is night and day fast. It is great that this year the consumers, finally, are the ones that will really benefit, not just the retailers. Truly this year everybody has so much to be thankful for.

I was going to do a post on this. Every Christmas, new computer users are introduced to the internet, and thus, find ifish!
Please welcome anyone new this year. It'll take them a while to get used to how to post, etc, so be helpful and kind!
I got some breathable waders and some Cabellas mud shoes... Let's see... what else? Bubble bath!!! Lots of it! A salmon plaque, a salmon poster! A fish wine rack! Ummmmm.... A fishing elf! Do I like fishing? You know what? Someone gave me a Santa Clause toilet seat cover, and I can't figure out from who!!! Someone thought it was just paper and wadded it up. I went to reuse it and low and behold, there was a flannel Santa Toilet seat cover in it! It's so cute! But I have NO clue now, who it is from!!! Terrible!
Whooooooooooo loves my toilet so much as to adorn it with Santa???
Any takers?

My favorites:

1- 18 volt cordless drill.
2- $100.00 gift certificate at Home Depot.
3- New warm weather gear from Cabelas.

I actually opened them last night, as I am at work today. I hope the 911 dispatch gods are kind to us today.

Merry Christmas all!

Well, I guess no one remembered I like to fish ...
4 dress shirts, a crab cooker (per my specific request), a thermometer and a very excited, happy 2 year old with more new books and toys than she knows what to do with. I can take great pleasure in that! Is there anything more wonderous than an excited kid discovering the wonder of new toys under a Christmas tree? Now, about all those batteries and the things they power ... I guess that's why there's eggnog, huh?

T'is a very fishy Christmas.

My parents in Milwaukie sent me my Dad's wicker creel, estimated to be 60 years old.

Head lamp for night fishing and camping.
Shakesphere pan fish reel.
Money for 2002 license from Grandma.
All-in-one neck gator/stocking cap.
Kershaw knife set.

Been into computer stuff since mid to late 80's so we have that base pretty much covered.

Thank you to all of you for the fellowship in fishing and stream ediquette.

I got a new pair of Hodgeman neoprene waders and after the morning festivities went out to break them in and picked up my first winter steelhead of the season. Lost a couple others for some added enjoyment.

Also recieved a Foodsaver, smoker and enough money from scratch-off tickets to pay for most of my license for next year.

Santa was very kind to me this year.

Wish I was able to fish all day.... Trade you for the 24 hours of cooking for and cleaning up after loving but not very helpful children and grandbabies.

As for computer stuff...only peripherals enhance the iFish experience...a printer and a wireless infrared mouse.

As for fishing stuff, I was excited to receive a very nice Uniden Oceanus marine radio for the boat, and a very timely Mr Heater Dual Burner propane heater (for those many cold mornings on the boat this winter!).

I enjoyed a couple hours fishing before family activities this afternoon. No fish but great fishing, as always.
I am one lucky person who did get a new computer along with a few other things.
Compaq 2700 notebook;
Cannon 2R25 Digital Video Camcorder(takes 100 stills on an 8mb card or records to mini DV cassette.
A Big Dog sweater that says it all "I only fish on days that end in Y".
Two pair black Carhart jeans.
I'm all prepared to fish and back up any talk about it. Of course, only on days that end in Y.

Lets see I got an 18 volt cordless drill, Dewalt Sawzall. A bunch of other hand tools Screwdrivers, wrenches and pliers. Hmm maybe someone is trying to tell me I should be fixing things around here before she moves in next year
I also got a new set of Motorola Talkabout walkie talkies. Will get to try those out elk hunting after the first of the year. Also got a new filet knife to add to the collection. I know there were a few more things but that is the good stuff.

24/28 hope you had a quiet shift, today turned out to be my kelly day so I got to be home for the first time in 4 years. Was nice to actually see everyone on Christmas day. Hope everyone else had a great day also.

Thanks, Firedog.

Only two calls so far, but they were average Christmas day calls. A suicide attempt and a structure fire as a result of decorations. Go figure. You know how it is..
